One day, on my way home from primary school, I came across a stone with a shell imprint on it. It was my very first fossil. The question remained: how had it got there? It was at that precise moment that my love for stones, as I often say, took root. And today, I'm a geologist! A passion and a profession have come together.

It was with this in mind that I created CURIOUS, with the intention of sharing this fascinating science, steeped in mystery and poetry. My articles cover a wide range of topics. These topics will open doors for you to discover and understand the fundamentals as well as the key moments that have shaped our subsoils and landscapes. From now on, a simple pebble will never again seem insignificant. Join me on this adventure through time and space.
